Leonardo Da Vinci, Inventor & Scientist

he exhibition of “Leonardo Da Vinci – Inventor & Scientist” is presented for the first time in Crete. Over 2.000.000 visitors have already see Leonardo’s schedules and findings to most of the European cities. “Leonardo Da Vinci – Inventor and Scientist” exhibition, is waiting for you from the 1st of April until 15th of October 2009 at the International Exhibition Center of Crete in Gournes Heraclion Crete.

120 drawings, letters and notebooks with a unique artistic and scientific value are presented in the exhibition. From anatomy to geometry, from engineering to shipping, from construction to timing, from war weapons to flying machines. Meet the great work of Leonardo Da Vinci and discover how this marked our time through the models of his inventions. Watch the first car, operate a unique timer, admire the bridge that 500 years ago it would join the coasts of the Black Sea, meet a flying machine and the human dream to fly, consider the ancestor of today’s weapons.

This great cultural - educational event is a production of Alfa Exhibitions SA and the Municipality of Gouves Heraclion with the support of the Aquarium of Crete and the Ministry of Tourism.
